Mr. Paul Buuck

Understanding that there is good-natured rivalry between graduates within the Concordia University system, Paul Buuck distinguishes himself as the only ESM staff member who hails from Concordia University St. Paul. He earned a BA in elementary education, a minor in elementary music, and a tolerance for Minnesota winters during his stint there. His wife Darlene serves as school secretary at our Getz Road campus and both are members at St. Michael Lutheran Church. Paul boosts the music ministry there through his involvement in the adult and men’s choirs and Life Song Contemporary Band, in addition to the leadership he provides ESM as director of the lower-grade choir, Joyful Sounds. In the category of “Paul trivia,” he enjoys horseback riding and taught Jacob Pennekamp’s younger twin sisters at St. John Lutheran School in Kendallville, IN.
