Mrs. Lisa Heilman

A Fort Wayne native, Lisa Heilman grew up attending St. Michael Lutheran Church and has spent nearly her entire teaching career at ESM. Over the course of her eighteen years in teaching, Lisa’s flexibility and willingness to step into positions as needed has afforded her the opportunity to teach at both of ESM’s campuses in the capacity of second, third & fourth grade teacher as well as currently serving students in a resource role. Lisa graduated from Concordia University Chicago with a BA in elementary education. Students have benefited from Lisa’s instruction in the classroom as well as on the athletic field under her leadership as an ESM track assistant coach. She personally places value on staying healthy and active and invests time learning about nutrition and wellness. Reading, walking, cooking, and spending time at her family’s lake home bring Lisa joy outside of the classroom.
