Mrs. Abby McCoy
Teacher - Grade 6
Abby McCoy joined the ESM family in 2021 as one of our 4th grade teachers and is now serving as one of our 6th grade teachers. Abby is originally from New Haven. Growing up, she attended Central Lutheran School and graduated from Woodlan High School in 2014. Abby then went on to attend Concordia University Wisconsin where she studied Lutheran elementary education and also received minors in both math and psychology. Abby taught for 3 years in Wisconsin before moving back home to Indiana.
Abby married her husband, Bryce, in 2022. They welcomed their son, Bennett, into the world in 2023. In her free time, Abby loves to spend time with family and friends, travel, and go on family walks with their dog, Ringo.
