Mrs. Stephanie Mueller
Teacher - Kindergarten
Mrs. Stephanie Mueller was born in California, but soon moved to Minnesota to be closer to family. There she grew up and attended East St. Paul Lutheran School where her grandfather was the principal and her grandmother was her kindergarten teacher! She went on to Concordia (Teacher's) College in Seward, Nebraska to study to be a teacher herself. She did her student teaching in Fort Wayne, Indiana and then received her first call to teach at Redeemer Lutheran School in Salt Lake City, Utah. After getting married to Craig Mueller of Fort Wayne in 1992, she and her husband lived in Indianapolis for 11 years. They came back to Fort Wayne to raise their own four children in Lutheran Schools. Mrs. Mueller taught at St. Paul's Lutheran here in Fort Wayne for the past 15 years, most of that time as the Early Childhood director and teacher of the Pre-Kindergarten class. Mrs. Mueller's family includes Mr. Mueller who is a battalion chief on the Fort Wayne Fire Department with 32 years of service. They have four grown children; daughter Abigail, who is a nurse in Indianapolis and getting married in February 2024; Jonathan, who studied aviation and is now studying to be a pilot, and also serves in the Air National Guard; another daughter Jenna, who is studying nursing at Grace College, and another son Benjamin studying business and playing lacrosse at Taylor University. As a mother of four, Mrs. Mueller loves being surrounded by children and is grateful for the opportunity to teach them about Jesus and the world that God made!
