Mrs. Carol Miller
Rotational Teacher - Getz Road Campus
Carol Miller was born in Jackson, Michigan, and lived in Michigan, Ohio and Virginia growing up as a Friends Church pastor's daughter. She graduated from Malone College, in Canton, Ohio, in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and psychology. In 2004, she returned to school at IPFW in the Transition to Teaching program, receiving certification in Elementary Education in 2005. From 2005 to 2010, Carol worked for the Southwest Allen County Schools as a substitute teacher, instructional aide, and 2nd grade teacher. She has been married to her husband, Duane, for 37 years and they are the parents of three children: 2 adult children and the youngest who attends ESM. Carol enjoys traveling, hiking, nature photography, reading, and working on puzzles in her free time. Carol is thrilled to be a part of the ESM team and thankful for the opportunity to get to know the students and support the teachers.
