Mrs. JIll Hockemeyer

Mrs. Hockemeyer was born and raised in Allen County. She attended St. John-Emmanuel for grades K-8, and then attended and graduated from Heritage High School. She attended Purdue University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Hockemeyer enjoyed raising their children and being a full-time Mom. She also served and still does serve as CFO of Hockemeyer Family Eye Care in New Haven.
 
Mrs. Hockemeyer is married to Troy and traveling has been an important part of their empty nest stage of life, partly because of where their children are living. Jake lives in Fort Wayne and works for Amazon. Cal lives in Seattle, Washington and works for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Brooke is a Lutheran school teacher in Tomball, TX, teaching Algebra I and II classes. Mallory is in her final year at Indiana University, with majors in International Studies and Germanic Studies, and a minor in Non-Profit Management.
 
Mrs. Hockemeyer has spent the last six years teaching the Kindermusik curriculum and giving piano lessons in the studio that she founded in 2018, Joyful Creations Studio. She loves working with children of all ages and is very much looking forward to spending some time in the classroom this year at ESM!
